Arthurdale Heritage Muesum
Founded in 1934, Arthurdale was created to give displaced coal miners a chance for a new life. First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was the empathetic force behind the project. She visited Arthurdale many times; dining with homesteaders, dancing the Virginia Reel, and speaking at graduations. The museum showcases the history of the town, and points you in the direction of other historical sites throughout the town. The Morgantown Glass Museum
This museum was built especially for exhibiting a collection of glasses from the Morgantown, Seneca, Gentile glass company, and other glass factories around Morgantown.
