| Appalachian Gallery Offers finely handcrafted works by artists and artisans in West Virginia and neighboring regions, as well as professional framing. Items include pottery, woodworks, basketry, hand-quilted pieces, wrought iron work, mosaics, glass, jewelry and framed art. | Country Roads Quilt Guild Join in the fun, improve your skills, learn new techniques and help the Guild encourage interest in quilting! Country Roads Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization promoting the continued teaching and education of quilting. Membership in this organization includes participation in workshops and exhibits, a monthly newsletter, access to resource materials, and a directory of programs and membersall. | Momentum Center for the Arts Is dedicated to enhancing the community through dance, music and the visual arts. For 40 years Bonnie McGowan has offered quality dance instruction to children and now their children’s children. Now that Bonnie has retired, Beth Weegar the new owner looks to maintain and build upon the tradition of quality with the newly expanded Center for the Arts. Provides a home for visual, performing, and literary arts through educational programming and community extension. The Arts Center is housed in one of Morgantown’s remaining historic buildings. This Neo-Classical building was erected in 1913 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
MAC is home to the Benedum & Davis Galleries and M. T. Pockets Theatre Company, performing energetic, cutting edge theater in the Mabel DeVries Tanner Theatre (a black box style theatre seating 50). | Morgantown Art Association MAA has opened an art gallery at the Mountaineer Mall on Greenbag Road. Local and regional fine art is exhibited. Classes in drawing and painting are also given. | The Morgantown Glass Museum This museum was built especially for exhibiting a collection of glasses from the Morgantown, Seneca, Gentile glass company, and other glass factories around Morgantown. Over 2,000 pieces manufactured from late 1892-1980 are shown. The Museum is owned and operated by a private collector, Mr. Kurt Ly. After 10 years of collecting glasses, he decided to have his own museum to share his passion with others.
